But it also includes premium toppings including a fried egg, grilled onions, and peppers that you can include for 99 cents.

You can add an assortment of sauces, including garlic Parmesan, sweet bourbon, and Caribbean jerk to complement your burger. Obed & Isaac’s Microbrewery and Eatery

If you’re looking for a mouthwatering pub burger paired with quality beer, Obed & Isaac’s Microbrewery and Eatery is the perfect spot. This brewery has two Illinois locations with one in Peoria and the other in Springfield just one block west of Abraham Lincoln’s home at 500 S. Sixth St. Order its Pub Burger, which is a seasoned char-grilled Angus beef patty on a pretzel roll with all the trimmings. The Beer and Whiskey Burger includes a whiskey-glazed burger with beer-braised onions, mushrooms, and smoked gouda cheese.

Obed & Isaac’s also serves a lamb burger with feta cheese and aioli mayo served atop a ciabatta roll as well as a veggie burger, which is a char-grilled chipotle bean burger on a pretzel roll. You can also opt for its version of the full-size Horseshoe or smaller-size Ponyshoe, which has thick-sliced toasted bread with your choice of meat or veggie burger, smothered in cheese sauce, and topped with French fries.

Sunrise Cafe

Located at 1201 S. Second Street, Sunrise Cafe is the typical small-town diner that serves numerous down-home dishes and comfort foods.
