All of Trim Levels of the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

If you’re interested in the new Chevy Silverado 1500, you have quite a few trim levels and different features to choose from. The new 2021 Silverado 1500 is available in a regular cab, extended double cab, and crew cab. There are two front seating options and three different bed lengths. There are also 34 available configurations on the eight different trim levels, which are the Work Truck, Custom, Custom Trail Boss, LT, RST, LT Trail Boss, LTZ, and High Country. Here’s a look at the main features of each of the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 trim levels to help you get started deciding which model is right for you:

2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Work Truck Trim

All configurations of the Work Truck trim come standard with a six-speed automatic transmission with overdrive and auto-manual and a 295-horsepower, 4.3-liter V-6 engine. It has 17-inch aluminum wheels and features seating for three people. The 5.3L turbo V-8 engine and eight-speed automatic transmission are available upgrades.

The Work Truck is the base trim level of the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 lineup and comes equipped with the entry-level trim package. It has standard features including MP3, Bluetooth connection, satellite radio, air conditioning, and bucket seats with cloth, leather, vinyl, or synthetic materials. Optional interior upgrades include features like a Wi-Fi hotspot, power mirrors, cruise control, power driver seat, and more.

The starting MSRP on the Work Truck is $28,600.

2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Custom Trim

The Custom Silverado 1500 model is one level up from the Work Truck and features body-colored bumpers, a center grille bar, deep-tinted glass, 20-inch bright silver-painted aluminum wheels, and signature LED tail lamps. The 4.3L V-6 engine is standard, but you can upgrade to either the 2.7L turbo or the 5.3L EcoTec3 V-8 with active fuel management and dual-outlet exhaust with polished tips. The Custom also has a beautiful jet black cloth interior.

The MSRP on the Custom Silverado starts at $35,900.

2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Custom Trail Boss Trim

 

The Custom Trail Boss has a standard 2-inch lift from the factory, an Autotrac two-speed transfer case, and the Z71 Off-Road Package. You can choose to upgrade to a 420-horsepower 6.2L EcoTec3 V-8 engine. The Custom Trail Boss also comes with a black grille, Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires, 18-inch high-gloss black-painted aluminum wheels, and the Performance Red recovery hooks.

The starting MSRP on the Custom Trail Boss is between $40,800 and $43,500.

2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT Trim

The Silverado 1500’s LT trim level has the classic truck feel. You’ll find chrome bumpers, mirror caps, and a center grille bar, along with 20-inch painted-aluminum wheels, daytime running lamps, and LED headlamps. Under the hood, there’s a 2.7L turbo engine, or you can upgrade to a 5.3L EcoTec3 V-8 engine. Both engines have eight-speed automatic transmissions. The LT also has an 8-inch diagonal color touch screen and optional SiriusXM with 360L.

New for 2021 is the available Texas Edition Plus package that offers other additional features, including 120-volt power outlets (including one mounted in the bed), a Chevrolet Infotainment System with an 8-inch diagonal color touch screen, a universal home remote, and more. The Texas Edition Plus replaces the regular edition available on last year’s model.

Starting MSRP on the LT trim is $39,600.

2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 RST Trim

The RST is sleek with its body-colored bumpers, center grille bar, and door handles matched with the high-gloss black mirror caps. It comes standard with 18-inch bright silver-painted aluminum wheels and an EZ Lift power lock and releases tailgate. The LED lighting features include headlamps, daytime running lamps, fog lamps, and tail lamps. The interior features the Keyless Open and Start, Chevy’s remote vehicle starter system, and a 40/20/40 split-bench front seat with lockable under-seat storage. New for 2021 is the option to have a 6.2L EcoTec3 V-8 engine.

The Texas Edition Plus for the LT is also available on the RST for 2021 to provide you with many more convenient features.

The RST starting MSRP is $43,200.

2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT Trail Boss Trim

The LT Trail Boss is similar to the Custom Trail Boss but features the 5.3L EcoTec3 V-8 engine with Dynamic Fuel Management, or you can upgrade to the 6.2L EcoTec3 V-8 engine. Added features on the LT Trail Boss include the Keyless Open and Start system and all-weather floor liners.

MRSP on the LT Trail Boss starts at $50,600.

2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ Trim

The second-highest model in the Silverado lineup is the LTZ, which showcases lots of premium features. Chrome is a big part of the LTZ trim, including on the bumpers, grille, mirror caps, beltline accents, and door handles. There is a 5.3L EcoTec3 V-8 engine, 18-inch bright silver-painted aluminum wheels, an automatic locking rear differential, and an advanced trailering system. Available engine options on the LTZ include a 6.2L V-8 and the Duramax 3.0L turbo-diesel. Inside the LTZ, you’ll find perforated leather-appointed front seating, a heated steering wheel, and heated driver and front outboard passenger seats.Â

The LTZ has a new option for 2021, called the LTZ Premium Texas Edition, which includes features like a Bose premium audio system, the Chevrolet Infotainment System with navigation, wireless charging, a power sunroof, and plenty of added safety features.

MSRP on the LTZ starts at $49,100.

2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 High Country Trim

If you’re looking for a top-of-the-line Chevy Silverado, the High Country is as good as they come. You’ll find an exclusive grille with a two-tone chrome and bronze finish. It has high-intensity discharge LED headlamps with signature curtain LED daytime running lamps. There are 20-inch wheels and wheel-to-wheel assist. You can select between diesel or gasoline fuel engines. Also, the High Country has an advanced trailering system with an industry-first power tailgate. Inside, there are perforated leather-appointed front bucket seats.

The MSRP on the High Country trim level starts at $53,400.
